“With the pandemic, we all are now more aware of the fact that mental health issues exist and that they’re as important as one’s physical health. We need to be mindful of such issues and be willing to come forth to a specialist for their opinion. I am extremely passionate towards my branch, Psychiatry, and firmly believe that now is the time we break the stigma against mental health problems as a society and sensitize everyone around us to reach out for help when required. My training in Psychiatry makes me a specialist in treating problems related to stress and addiction, sleep problems, sexual disorders, mood disorders like depression and mania, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, OCD and dementia. Let’s talk about mental health and give it the importance it deserves.”
